UV printing cures ink instantly with ultraviolet light. Our UV printers run flexible hybrid inks, so we can print full-color designs on hard surfaces and on flexible materials — including on-demand PVC and leather patches. UV DTF turns that same print into a peel-and-stick transfer for curved and odd-shaped items.

UV printing

Advantages

  • Full-color prints on hard surfaces and flexible materials
  • Flexible hybrid inks bend without cracking — ideal for PVC and leather patches
  • Patches printed on demand, with no molds or minimum runs
  • Ink cures instantly — vivid, sharp and scratch-resistant
  • White ink makes designs pop on dark and clear items
  • No screens or setup, so small runs make sense

Disadvantages

  • Best on flat or gently curved surfaces
  • Item size is limited by the printer bed [confirm max size]
  • Not used for printing directly on garments
  • Tight curves and odd shapes are better suited to UV DTF

UV DTF

Advantages

  • Applies to curved and irregular hard surfaces
  • No heat or press needed — peel and stick
  • Vivid, full-color and durable
  • Great for tumblers, bottles and glassware

Disadvantages

  • Sits on top of the surface like a premium decal
  • Not for fabric or soft goods
  • Needs a clean, smooth surface to bond well
  • Very thin, standalone details can be delicate
